The Microsoft Office software package contains the spreadsheet program Microsoft Excel. With the use of both simple and advanced arithmetic operations and functions, spreadsheets let users manipulate tables of numbers that are organized in rows and columns. The application is compatible with several operating systems, including Windows, macOS, mobile devices, and tablets.

A database management system and application organization service is Microsoft Access. Software developers and application developers use it mostly to create their programs using the program's databases and software development tools.




Difference between MS Office Access and MS Office Excel

Access and Excel are both Microsoft programs. Excel is a spreadsheet that allows for calculations and the visual representation of data, whereas Access is a database management system that makes it simple to store and manage data. Excel has a less data storage capacity than Access. Typically, financial and statistical analysts utilize Excel, while small business owners prefer Access. Access is more difficult to use than Excel, which is simpler.
